A Career That Makes a Difference

Working in care is about more than providing support - it is about enabling people to live fuller, more independent lives.

Many of the individuals we support are rebuilding their lives following life-changing events, such as brain injury or serious illness. The role our teams play in that journey is both meaningful and transformative.

Whether it’s supporting someone to return home from hospital, rebuild confidence, or regain independence, the impact of your work is tangible and deeply rewarding.

Work in Specialist
Complex Care

What sets us apart is the level of care we provide - and the level of expertise we look for.

Our teams support individuals with complex and high-dependency needs, which means the work is varied, engaging and often more advanced than traditional care roles.

This includes supporting people with:

  • neurological conditions and brain injuries
  • physical disabilities and long-term health needs
  • respiratory or clinical care requirements
  • rehabilitation within the home

For those looking to develop a career in care, this provides an opportunity to build specialist skills and experience in a more clinically informed environment.

Why Join Active Assistance?

We are committed to supporting our teams as much as the people we care for. Joining us means becoming part of an organisation that values professionalism, compassion and continuous development.

As part of Active Care Group, we also offer:

  • structured training and ongoing development
  • opportunities to develop specialist skills
  • support from experienced Care Managers and clinical teams
  • a supportive and collaborative working environment

We recognise the importance of consistency and relationships in care, and we aim to create an environment where both staff and the individuals we support can thrive.

Training and Development

We invest in our people to ensure they feel confident and capable in their roles. Training is tailored to the needs of the individuals you will support, and may include:

  • condition-specific training (e.g. brain injury,
neurological conditions)
  • safeguarding and best practice
  • clinical skills and competencies
  • ongoing professional development

You will also be supported by experienced colleagues, with access to guidance and supervision as needed.
